Janet MacPhee is a facilitator, coach, and consultant who helps both individuals and organizations optimize their performance. She has over 15 years of corporate leadership experience including learning and development, assessment, employee relations and outplacement services. Janet has worked for a diverse range of industry sectors, including retail, manufacturing, and service organizations.

During her corporate career, Janet is particularly proud of being able to train and coach individuals at all levels of organizations, from unionized, shop-floor employees to Presidents and Senior Management teams. Along with Janet’s training experience, she has also spearheaded and implemented a competency assessment process that included creating competency profiles, facilitating 360° feedback assessments, and developing individualized development plans. Janet also had responsibilities for employee communication by managing a national quarterly newsletter and employee opinion survey.

In 2001, Janet founded Compass Coaching to provide coaching services to individuals and corporate clients. Since the company’s inception, selected clients include Days Inn, CSA Group, Royal Bank of Canada, Rocky Mountaineer Railtours, and Zimmer of Canada Limited. Janet is also an instructional design and facilitation consultant with Training Makes Cents Inc. She has designed workshops on coaching skills, how to maximize the impact of corporate health education events for pharmaceutical clients, and many additional content areas.

Janet holds Bachelor degrees in Psychology and Education and is an Adler Certified Professional Coach. Her passion is to connect with her clients to help them develop to their fullest potential.
